What is not stored
Why the message log has no subject column.
Telecommunications secrecy, not a preference
Section 3 TDDDG binds anyone involved in providing a communications service to telecommunications secrecy and permits knowledge of content only as far as operating the service actually requires. A subject line is content. Veltic Send therefore stores the message id, the envelope addresses, the recipient count, timestamps and status codes — which is everything a delivery proof needs — and nothing else.
No pixels, no rewritten links
Open tracking means embedding an invisible image in your mail. Click tracking means replacing every link with a redirect through us. Veltic Send does neither, which is also the reason it can tell you honestly what it does and does not know about a message.
Retention
Delivery events are kept for 90 days and then deleted. Suppression entries persist, because forgetting that an address hard-bounced is how a bounce rate climbs back over the threshold where Amazon intervenes.
