General terms and conditions for Veltic Managed and for a dedicated server agreement.
This text is drafted in full but is not yet binding: the operator still has to insert the identity data listed below and have the wording reviewed. Until then the page is not indexed by search engines.
- Legal name of the operator as the contracting party
- Place of jurisdiction and applicable law confirmed by the operator's counsel
- Any service level commitment the operator wants to give in writing
- Notice periods the operator wants to apply to a dedicated server agreement

1. Scope
These terms govern the use of the Veltic platform, consisting of the marketing site at veltic.app, the dashboard, the HTTPS API, the realtime endpoint and the veltic command line interface. The contracting party is the operator named in the imprint.
Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless the operator has agreed to them in writing. Side agreements require the same form.
2. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of a plan on the pricing page is an invitation to submit an offer, not a binding offer. The contract is concluded when the operator confirms your subscription after a successful payment authorisation through the payment provider, or when the operator confirms a dedicated server agreement in writing.
Creating an account without a plan grants access to the account and the pricing page. Access to the dashboard requires an active plan.
3. Subject of the service
Veltic Managed provides project scoped PostgreSQL databases, container based applications and background functions, private storage and public blobs, realtime channels and the accompanying dashboard, API and command line interface, on server capacity operated by the operator.
The operator provides the platform, not the content. You decide which data you store, which code you deploy and which of your own users may reach it. The operator does not supply end user authentication for your application; you implement that yourself, typically backed by row level security in the database.
4. Price and payment
Veltic Managed costs EUR 29 per month or EUR 290 per year, each including statutory value added tax where it applies. Payment is due in advance for the chosen billing period and is collected by the payment provider.
If a payment fails, you can still sign in and open the billing page. Mutating operations on the platform are suspended while the subscription is inactive and are restored after a successful payment. Read access to your data remains available so that you can export it.
A price change is announced at least six weeks before the start of the next billing period. If you do not agree, you may terminate with effect from the date the new price takes effect.
5. Fair use
The plan is advertised without per feature quotas. It is nonetheless bound by the capacity of shared server hardware and by the technical limits the platform enforces, in particular the memory limit of each container, the connection limit of each database role and the payload limits of the realtime service.
Usage that measurably degrades the platform for other customers is reviewed individually. The operator contacts you first, describes the observed metric and agrees a remedy. A restriction without prior contact is reserved for cases where the platform is at immediate risk.
6. Your obligations
- Keep your credentials, API keys and automation tokens confidential and rotate them when they may have leaked.
- Do not store or distribute unlawful content, and do not use the platform to attack third parties or to send unsolicited bulk email.
- Do not attempt to leave the boundary of your own projects, to escalate privileges on the host or to circumvent the platform's rate limits.
- Comply with data protection law for the data of your own users, and conclude the data processing agreement where the operator processes personal data on your behalf.
- Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. The platform offers backups; taking them is your decision.
7. Availability and maintenance
The operator provides the platform without a guaranteed level of availability unless a service level has been agreed in writing. A single virtual private server is a single point of failure, and the operator will not describe it otherwise.
A deployment stops the previous container and starts the new one, which causes a short interruption of the affected resource. Maintenance that requires a longer interruption is announced in advance where it is foreseeable.
8. Liability
The operator is liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory by law. In the case of a slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Liability for the loss of data is limited to the effort of restoring data from the backups you have taken. Liability for the loss of data you never backed up is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Term and termination
A monthly subscription runs for one month and renews automatically unless it is terminated before the end of the current period. A yearly subscription runs for twelve months and renews the same way. You terminate through the billing page in the dashboard or through the customer portal of the payment provider.
The operator may terminate for cause without notice if you materially breach these terms, in particular by storing unlawful content or attacking the platform.
After the contract ends you have thirty days to export your data. After that period the operator deletes the databases, containers, storage volumes and backups belonging to the account.
10. Changes to these terms
The operator may change these terms with effect for the future, for example to reflect a change in the service or in the law. A change is announced at least six weeks in advance. If you do not object before the change takes effect, it is deemed accepted; the announcement points this out and your right to terminate remains.
11. Final provisions
German law applies. Where the customer is a consumer, this choice does not remove the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the customer's habitual residence.
If the customer is a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered seat.
If a provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
