Tables and schemas

Browsing schemas, inspecting rows and creating tables.

View as Markdown

The table editor

Walk the schema tree, open a table, inspect a row. Column types, nullability and defaults are shown as PostgreSQL reports them. Foreign keys are navigable links rather than raw identifiers you have to look up yourself.

Creating tables

The editor assembles the DDL and shows it before running. That is convenient for a prototype, but anything that has to be reproducible belongs in a forward-only migration in your repository.

Permissions

table.read lets an account browse structure and rows. Changing structure requires the matching write permission, so read-only access is a real state rather than a convention you hope people respect.
